This is my foray into the world of suburban house hunting and my endless battle with normalcy and sameness.

This is a cute house , I actually did see it with an agent, just wondering what you found was special about it...it is in consideration for me, but I am not completely in love...thank you so much, great blog you have and a great eye, would really appreciate your thoughts...
ReplyDeleteSometimes with a home what I love abut it isn't a physical thing but more a feeling I get from the place.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds really new age and psychotic since I've never BEEN in the home but only seen a few photos.
There is something very friendly and happy abut this home.
I LOVE the kitchen, though I would change the paint color.
I love the big window/doors. I can see a nice oversized arm chair there and curling up with a good book in the sunlight.
I'm guessing you have enough property to have a garden and you can wake to the birds singing in the morning.
Sometimes with a home it's not what you see with your eyes but how it makes you feel.
Thank you, Diana, so true and beautifully written. I do these drive-bys now, to see how the house is situated tho, and to see if it's quiet...I tell people it's like online dating - the picture may not be the whole picture! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you, have a great day!
You will have to let me know what you decide and what happens. I'm curious now.
ReplyDeleteThe best advice I can give anyone is go with your gut. You will know when a house is meant to be your home.
I will absolutely keep you posted! And I totally agree with you- before I bought the apt where I live now, I rented a Victorian house in ridgewood, nj, which I absolutely loved, and which was definitely waiting for me! Btw, I drove by 2 wolf lane in croton today - also on your site - it's how I found you - it is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found me and I hope you stick around!
ReplyDeletelet me know what area you are looking in and I'll see what I an find!
