This is my foray into the world of suburban house hunting and my endless battle with normalcy and sameness.

Those magic words
Pardon me while I fall over into a dead faint.
My husband just told me he LIKED one of the homes I have listed on here and he wants me to get more info on the home.
(sniffing smelling salts)
He of course knows that he must be very careful when showing even the slightest bit of interest in one of these amazing homes.
Crazy people like me can smell interest like a shark sniffing blood in the water.
He has made the mistake of saying
"Wow! That's a great house"
or even worse the drool inducing
"I really like that one!"
He knows that once these words have fallen from his lips, my heart begins to race and I go into hyperdrive crazy lady on a misson mode.
He has seen me at the height of my house lust frenzy where I'm sending him about 50 emails a day with ideas and selling points and details and prices and school reports.
My husband is a very patient man when it comes to my crazy home obsession.
So today he apparently sent me an email telling me he liked one of the homes I just put up, but not only did he send me an email. HE FOLLOWED IT UP WITH A PHONE CALL!!!
He knows that to do this will cause this sort of a reaction in me:
and that he must be very very sure that he's willing to go through all the pestering that he knows he's in for.
To be a little kinder to my poor sweetie, I'm going to put all the info here, in one place so he's not chewing on a vein wishing me dead at the end of all of this.
Here we go:
Here is the blog with the home and the info:

First thing I notice that I also saw in the photos. Our very cute backyard butts right up to a cemetery. Since I'm all about the Macabre the first thing I think is that this will make some KICK ASS Halloween parties and when the Zombie Apocalypse comes we can go to the roof and pick them off as they rise from their graves.
Down side to this is that my backyard parties (Minus the Halloween ones) will be overlooking dead folks.
Going to have to do some quick research on this cemetary and find out how old it is...that would either bump up or drop the coolness factor.
Tax info on the property. I cannot imagine this is correct but if it is....
The info I found is that in 2011 the property taxes were $2,219

Apparently there is no school in the town so the kids will actually remain in the NJ school system.

The first thing I see is that they have a full Child Study Team and offer all the Therapies that Brian is getting today.
The student to teacher ratio is right on and the classes are even smaller than Hoboken.

So there you have it. It seems like a lovely town the only drawback that I can see is that you apparently have to drive to work unless there is a Park & Ride that I can't find...
