Lighting

I HATE the lighting in this apartment. I think they look like boobs. but I'm at a loss for the kitchen. I know in the hall above the front door I want a small chandelier. Something crystal and sweet.
The living room I know I want a plain white drum pendant lamp.
But the kitchen is eluding me. I need two of whatever I get but what do I get?
