Holy mother of Christ! What did they do to this house?!
This is the kind of home that drives me INSANE.
There is NO WAY on this planet this house originally had all the wood on the moldings and the stairs in the entryway painted white. The wood in this home originally matched the ceiling in the dining room and the windows in that weird room with the blue and white ceiling (Good LORD why would you EVER think that was a good idea?!)
The white paint destroys the masculine castle vibe the house is clearly going for. It makes it light and feminine and bright. Combine that with the salmon mauve pink color all over the walls (upstairs and down really?!) BLEAGH.
Plus they have committed the ultimate sin that is worse than wallpaper...recessed lighting. You can't even squint and pretend that it's an original part of the home. I'm sad for this home...She deserves better.
Having said all of that and shaking my fist at the owners who thought they were restoring this amazing home, this home IS amazing and I'd be delighted to restore her the way she should be restored...
