The great thing about this property is that it has had very little remodeling and still has the original woodwork and oak floors. It has 12 foot ceilings, 6 fireplaces, a kitchen that is 26' x 26'. All of the bedrooms are large. There is room to put in extra baths and closets if desired. The wrap around porch has a porch swing and room for outdoor dining. Fully finished this could have as many as 11 guest rooms and has room for a pool and even a pool house. The town is quintessential southern Georgia and has many antique shops and a civil war cemetary. The court house was burned during the civil war but rebuilt shortly after.

Victorian with incredible woodwork and heart pine and oak flooring.
Wrap around porch, two staircases (front and back).
Huge kitchen with hardwood cabinets and thick granite countertops, large island.
Six fireplaces.
This house has unpainted woodwork and no lead based paint (it was wall-papered not painted).
Electrical and plumbing is about 80% new.
New Air/Heat pump for first floor.
A new roof was installed in August of 2011, and the wrap around porch was rebuilt in 2008.
Still in need of skimming of some walls in about a third of the rooms and floor covering in the kitchen.
House is very liveable.
What I love
All rooms are large, Kitchen is 26'x26'.
Attic is 2500 sq ft and could be add an additional 4 bedrooms if finished.
House has incredible details.
It is on a beautiful parkway.
The town is known for it's many antique shops, a museum and a civil war cemetery.
It is just 15 minutes to Sams Club, Wallmart and the University of Valdosta.

Neighborhood Description
North Court Street is the town's historic district. It is a beautiful, well kept tree lined parkway and is breathtaking when the azaleas are in bloom. Neighbors are friendly, shools are good and aftercare at elementary school is $20 per month
