114 Laurel Park Northampton, MA 01060

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Northampton. It's truly one of my favorite towns and if I could ever get my husband to move out of the NYC area this would be in my top three places I'd want to land.

Back in the 1980's my parents decided to invest in real estate and they purchased three homes in Northampton. Unbeknownst to my sister and I one was purchased with the intention of leaving NY and moving to Northampton. My mother decided she didn't want to leave the city.

We spent an entire summer up there and I loved it. It's a beautiful town with a New England feel but since it's a College town it's alive and has a very cool groove to it.
This house is far away enough to feel secluded and like a cabin in the woods but only three miles to the heart of Northampton and one of my favorite places to shop Thornes Marketplace. (Thornes is home to some of the best ice cream Herrell's) and yes, they have a Starbucks in downtown Northampton.

If someone offered me something like this as a summer house I'd be all over it in a heartbeat.

It would be great to spend time in Northampton again. I've always wanted a cabin I can pimp out, and it seems that the pimpification potential in this place is rather high.
Bonus is that it's also only 2 miles from both of the homes we still own up there.

Laurel Park is a condominium association of small older cottages. Looked at a home for sale at Laurel Park last year. All the houses are very close together. Can be a difficult place to resell.
Condo association is very well run.
Very convenient to downtown and the highway. I believe a bus does run by (on a limited schedule).
