Easy walk to the ferry which is the most amazing way to get into the city.
I'm not sure if it's changed but St. George where this home is used to be a rather rough area. Quick story.
When I lived there, I didn't know poop about Staten Island and so when I had the gas guy come late at night to fix something the first night we lived there I was a little unnerved when he said "You live here?" I replied that I did, with a roommate who wasn't home at the time.
He shook his head and said "Well, just be careful. This isn't the best area for young gals to be alone in"

That apartment was my favorite place I have ever lived in all the places I've ever lived. I never had a problem with the neighborhood and I still miss that apartment.
